1. What are the roles of the Royal Society and OICL?

OICL handles all the academic programs,
e.g. speakers, scheduling and presentation of the conference,
scientific photo exhibition, including REGISTRATION of
participants The Royal Society provides us with technical
support e.g. arrangement of conference hall, audio-visual,
computer powerpoint; panels for exhibition including preparation
of food and beverages, cocktail reception, lunch buffet
and tea/coffee breaks.
2. Will I get information regarding Okinawa Longevity
Conference in the Royal Society homepage?

No. The Royal Society has their
own on-going conferences, and their schedules are listed
in the "Events Diary". All inquiries about Okinawa Longevity
Conference should be directed to our coordinator in UK
and staff in Okinawa.
3. Where can I register and pay?

All registration and payment should
be made On-Line through credit card using the application
form on this website. Kindly click our Registration menu.
Note: The Royal Society will Not accept any registration
and/or payment.
4. When is the deadline for registration?

June 15, 2004, The Registration has been extended by one week. However, because of limited seating capacity
of 100 participants, it will be on a first-come, first-served
basis.
5. How much is the Registration fee?

Registration fee is 95GBP; Special
Registration Fee is 47GBP for University Faculty, Members,
Students & Non Profit Organizations and Foundations
6. Do you give any discounts on the Registration fee?

Yes, for early registration, university/graduate
students, we give 10% discount. And also to those who
are members and workers of non-profit organizations. Group
of 5 participants get 10% discount.
7. What is the schedule of the conference?
June 16th, 6 PM-9:00 PM (evening
only) Cocktail Reception.

June 18th, 9:00 AM-12 PM (Half day. Session Ends).
8. Who should attend the conference?

All. Longevity covers a variety
of topics and specialties. And anyone who is in the field
of medicine, nutrition, health promotion and policy on
ageing, gerontology, geriatrics, and wellness to name
a few are encouraged to attend the conference. And those
who are interested in adding precious years to life and
add more years to quality of life are welcome to attend
